WHY I CREATED DUCKY DECOY™

Ducky Decoy™ started with my brother.

We lost him to cancer at an early age, but what he left behind was much bigger than anything cancer could take away.

He was a phenomenal artist. The kind of creative mind you only meet once. Some of my favorite memories were sitting beside him late at night, looking over his shoulder as a blank page slowly became something incredible.

He saw things differently.

Before he got sick, his dream was to become an artist for Pixar. And anyone who saw his work understood why. I always believed he was one of a kind. Even today, I’d be proud to become half the artist he was.

The greatest lesson he taught me wasn’t just how to create. It was how to see.

To look closer. To think differently. To understand that every small detail matters.

Sometimes he would get frustrated with a drawing, adding more and more detail. I would ask him, “How do you know when it’s finished?”

His answer was always the same.

“You don’t. It never really is.”

That idea stayed with me.

Years later, when I started building Ducky Decoy™, I found myself following that same philosophy. Every pattern, every shape, every detail can always be studied, refined, and improved.

This company isn’t just about replacing messy face paint. It’s about pushing what concealment can become.

Our designs are engineered from nature itself, built to break up facial symmetry, disrupt shadows, and help hunters become part of their environment.

Ducky Decoy™ will never truly be finished.

Because the best creations never are.

They keep evolving.

This is for my brother.
